W3 Financial Group Team Members Volunteer at Akron Zoo Through Volunteer Initiative

Living Our Values: W3 Financial Group Volunteers at Akron Zoo

AKRON, Ohio — June 2026 — Team members from W3 Financial Group recently volunteered at the Akron Zoo, assisting the Zoo’s horticulture team with landscaping and beautification projects as part of the firm’s W3 volunteer community engagement initiative.

Employees spent the day working alongside Akron Zoo staff to help maintain the grounds and gardens that enhance the experience for thousands of visitors each year. The volunteer effort reflects W3 Financial Group’s commitment to serving the communities where its employees, clients, and families live and work.

Community involvement has long been a cornerstone of W3 Financial Group’s culture. Guided by the firm’s principles of integrity, accountability, teamwork, and service, W3 encourages employees to actively support organizations that strengthen the Northeast Ohio community. Through the W3 volunteer program, team members are provided opportunities to give back through volunteer service and charitable initiatives throughout the year.

“Our commitment to the community extends beyond the work we do for our clients,” said Frank Bevilacqua II, CPA, CFP®, President and CEO of W3 Financial Group. “One of our core values is ‘Do What You Say.’ We believe in following through on our commitments and taking action when it comes to supporting the organizations that make our communities stronger. The Akron Zoo is an incredible resource for families throughout our region, and we are proud to contribute our time and effort to support its mission.”

The partnership with the Akron Zoo is especially meaningful for W3 Financial Group. Frank Bevilacqua and David Koly currently serve on the Akron Zoo Board of Directors, helping guide and support the organization’s ongoing efforts to educate, inspire, and connect the community through wildlife conservation and family experiences.

“W3 has always believed that strong communities are built through active participation,” said Stephen M. Catalano, Managing Partner of W3 Financial Group. “Whether it’s volunteering, supporting local nonprofits, serving on community boards, or helping families and businesses achieve their goals, we are committed to making a positive impact where we live and work.”

The volunteer project also reflects another of W3’s core values, being family-oriented. The Akron Zoo serves as a destination where families can learn, connect, and create lasting memories, making it a natural fit for an organization that believes strong families are the foundation of strong communities.

W3 Financial Group regularly partners with charitable organizations, schools, civic groups, and nonprofit organizations across Ohio, Virginia, and Kentucky. Through volunteer initiatives, educational programs, sponsorships, and community leadership, the firm remains dedicated to creating meaningful and lasting impact in the communities it serves.
