In loving Memory of Cynthia Lee (Brown) Latham
December 1, 1965 – January 11, 2025 (age 59)
On January 11, 2025, Cynthia “Cindy” Lee Latham (Brown) went home to be with the Lord after a courageous battle with stage 4 colon cancer. Cindy passed peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family.
Cindy’s journey with Winer & Bevilacqua—now W3 Global Accounting—began when she was just 18 years old, shortly after graduating from high school. With unmatched dedication and a tenacious spirit, she co-founded the firm that would grow to become an essential part of the community. Over the course of more than 40 years, Cindy wore many hats at W3, contributing her talent, work ethic, and heart to every aspect of the company. She was the first to arrive at the office each day and the last to leave, setting an inspiring example for all who worked alongside her.
Outside of her professional life, Cindy was a vibrant and multi-talented individual who cherished life’s simple joys. She loved floating in her pool, walking in the fresh air, creating arts and crafts, and hunting for treasures at garage sales and craft shows. Myrtle Beach held a special place in her heart, as did concerts and family vacations. Cindy’s favorite treats—McDonald’s sweet teas, cherry slushies, A&W hot dogs, and shopping trips to Tanger Outlet—were small pleasures that brought her immense happiness.
Even in her final year, Cindy lived her life with remarkable resilience and grace. She refused to let her chemotherapy treatments define her, making the most of every moment with family, friends, and colleagues.
Cindy’s legacy will forever be woven into the fabric of W3. Her warmth, unwavering dedication, and zest for life will continue to inspire all who knew her. She leaves behind a community of colleagues, friends, and loved ones who will miss her deeply but cherish her memory always.
