I was a member of the Somali Student Association (SSA) at OSU, which is dedicated to bringing awareness to East African culture. During my time with SSA, I was a dancer and also helped host events for the school, showcasing cultural pride and community engagement.

At W3 Financial Group, I help the team by working on financial analysis, preparing accounting
reports, and assisting with client projects. I’m learning the ins and outs of accounting while
contributing to delivering accurate and efficient services to clients. I love being part of a team
that makes a positive impact, and I’m passionate about growing my skills to provide real
solutions. This hands-on experience aligns perfectly with my studies and is helping me prepare
and work towards my career in accounting

Hobbies and Personal Interests

On the side, I’m a passionate makeup artist and enjoy experimenting with different looks. I also love cooking, baking, and discovering new fun activities to do in my free time. These creative outlets keep me balanced and inspired.

Personality Spotlight: I’m someone who’s always determined, creative, and optimistic, and I genuinely love bringing high-quality work and fresh ideas to everything I do. Whether I’m diving into my studies at OSU, I’m always focused on making sure I do my absolute best. I get a real sense of fulfillment from problem solving and love being in environments where I can think outside the box and push myself to grow. When it comes to my spirit animal, I’d say it’s the dolphin. They’re playful, smart, and all about making connections, traits I really resonate with. I bring that same energy and enthusiasm to every project, making sure I not only stay positive but also help create a fun and collaborative atmosphere with my team and clients.
