Sharon prepares federal, state and city Trusts and Estate and personal tax returns. In this role, she coordinates with clients’ attorneys, trustees, and executors of deceased taxpayers. When someone has a loved one pass away, Sharon walks them through the process of managing the decedent’s assets, filing tax returns, and making distributions to beneficiaries. She streamlined the firm’s procedures for the Federal Extension process, helping several of our clients save money through detailed analysis and filing.
Sharon draws upon her personal background when helping clients navigate the process of settling an estate. She was the executor of her father’s estate and has managed an asset protection trust for her father and a special needs trust for her daughter.
Sharon has a Bachelor of Science in accounting and has completed the Toastmasters International HighPerformance Leadership Project, earning the highest award of Distinguished Toastmaster. She is the past chairman of the City of Fairlawn Real Property Maintenance Board, a Parent Mentor for Akron Children’s Hospital, treasurer and a 30-year member of Bridgestone/Firestone Toastmasters Club, and a member of the National Spina Bifida Organization.
